International Online Conference (November 25, 2021)

The Publishing House Virtus Interpress together with Virtus Global Center for Corporate Governance are pleased to announce that in autumn 2021 we are going to organise the next international online conference titled “Corporate Governance: Fundamental and Challenging Issues in Scholarly Research” .

The conference will take place on November 25, 2021 .

The upcoming international online conference will be a platform for sharing ideas on new trends that are currently shaping the concept of modern corporate governance. The event will focus on a variety of crucial issues of corporate governance, i.e. earnings management, corporate control, audit, executive compensation, financial reporting, disclosure and transparency issues, shareholder rights, etc. The main goal of the conference is to investigate fundamental and challenging issues of corporate governance and outline possible scenarios of its development. You are invited to submit an extended abstract of the paper (400-1000 words) or a full paper (up to 6000 words), including the title and affiliation by e-mail:

We’ll continue following our strategy regarding the publication of the conference proceedings where all the extended abstracts accepted for presentation at the conference will be published. The conference proceedings will be Open Access, which provides the best opportunities for the research to make the biggest impact on the academic community. You may find examples of the proceedings of the previous conferences here: "Corporate Governance: A Search for Emerging Trends in the Pandemic Times", "Corporate Governance: An Interdisciplinary Outlook in the Wake of Pandemic", and "Corporate Governance: Examining Key Challenges and Perspectives".

All the papers presented at the conference may be also published in one of the special issues of the Virtus Interpress journals. These papers will be subject to a separate double-blind reviewing process after the conference.
