The Publishing House Virtus Interpress together with Virtus Global Center for Corporate Governance are delighted to announce that on June 4, 2026 the international online conference titled “Corporate Governance: Theory and the Best Practices” will be held.
The event will be a platform for sharing ideas on theoretical and practical sides of modern corporate governance. The conference will be devoted to a variety of crucial issues of corporate governance, i.e., earnings management, corporate control, audit, executive compensation, financial reporting, disclosure and transparency issues, shareholder rights, etc. The main goal of the conference is to investigate the above-mentioned themes and to invoke discussion of them that is a major value of the scholarly research. The upcoming conference will therefore provide a platform for academics and practitioners to analyse recent trends and the best practices. The full list of key topics is available following the link.
You are invited to submit an extended abstract of the paper (400-1000 words) or a full paper (up to 6000 words), including the title and affiliation by e-mail:

We’ll continue following our strategy regarding the publication of the conference proceedings where all the extended abstracts accepted for presentation at the conference will be published. The conference proceedings will be Open Access, which provides the best opportunities for the research to make the biggest impact on the academic community. You may find some examples of the proceedings of the previous conferences here: "Corporate Governance: Multidisciplinary Research", "Corporate Governance: International Outlook", "Corporate Governance: Scholarly Research and Practice", "Corporate Governance: Research and Advanced Practices".
All the papers presented at the conference may be also published in one of the issues of the Virtus Interpress journals. These papers will be subject to a separate double-blind reviewing process after the conference.
